About the Safety Vests
What does Inked Vest do?
We specialize in creating custom safety vests! We use a high-quality Direct to Film (DTF) pressing technique to apply the designs. While we don’t manufacture the vests ourselves, we carefully select and source vests that offer the best value and quality for our customers.
Can I buy just one customized vest?
Yes! We offer a variety of retail products featuring our own ready-made designs, which you can purchase individually.
Can I send you my own vest to be printed?
Absolutely. As long as your vest is clean and ready for heat pressing, we’ll apply your artwork. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of shipping your vest to us.
Are the vests you source covered by your 30-day refund policy?
Yes, the vest itself is fully covered. Even though we don’t manufacture them, we consider the vest an integral part of your custom product. We meticulously select our vests based on quality and value, and personally inspect them upon arrival. This commitment ensures that both Inked Vest and the original manufacturer stand behind the quality of the materials.
Custom Designs and Artwork
I have a new design idea. Can Inked Vest create the artwork for me?
Yes! We love to collaborate on new ideas. Just let us know what you have in mind. Please be aware that artwork creation requires you to meet our minimum order requirements (see below).
If Inked Vest creates the new design, who owns the copyright?
Inked Vest LLC will retain the copyright for the final artwork. This is because we handle all the creative and technical design work, even though your idea serves as the initial concept.
Except, when the content or artwork is provided by you, then you retain full ownership of it in spite of any collaborative modifications we may do.
What are the minimum order quantities for new designs?
The minimum order quantity depends on the types of specialty inks used:
Ink Options and Durability
What are the possible combinations for specialty inks (Neon, Metallic, and Reflective)?
Full Colors (CMYK): These can be combined with up to 28 metallic options and a single neon color in one design.
Metallic Inks: You can choose from up to 28 options and combine them with full colors and a single neon color.
Neon Inks: You can only use one neon color per design (yellow, green, pink, or orange), but it can be combined with full colors and metallics.
Silver Reflective Ink: This ink must be used by itself and cannot be combined with any other color.
How long will the prints last?
Our inks are highly durable:
All Color Inks (CMYK, Neon, Metallic): Rated to last up to 70 washes without peeling, tearing, or color degradation.
Reflective Ink: Rated to last up to 30 washes.
Are the DTF transfers made here in USA?
Yes, all of our DTF transfer films are 100% made in USA.
